Meet the Trader

An exciting addition to the flea market this year is Albert and Edward, upcycled lighting.

Company owner Duncan McKean tries to upcycle literally everything and anything.  He is passionate about discovering discarded or disused items and relishes the art of reviving and restoring his finds and turning them into something new.  Albert and Edward's reinvented, repurposed and refurbished product range, with a new lease of life, can then in turn be appreciated by a new concerning generation for years to come.

Duncan worked as a carpenter on leaving school and after studying Interior Architecture worked as an interior designer for many years.  Duncan has recently left his 16 year career as a Design Technology teacher to pursue his passion for upcyling lighting.

Albert & Edward's range of lighting will be available at the first flea of 2018 on Saturday 3rd February at St Matthew's Church Hall & Gardens.  Open 11-4pm, free entry and free local parking.
