Reflexology is a complementary therapy that aims to encourage a sense of well-being and relaxation. It is a technique of applying pressure to different parts of the feet to have a corresponding effect on other areas of the body. A series of treatments may improve mood, aid sleep, relieve tension, help relaxation and improve sense of well being.
Reflexology is believed to date back to Ancient Egypt, where illustrations depicting foot treatments were found in the tomb of an Egyptian physician called Ankmahor (around 2500 BC).
Julia trained at the London School of Reflexology in Regents Park and is a member of the Association of Reflexology. Having completed a Reflexology Diploma in Preconception, Pregnancy and Post Natal Care, Julia also offers treatments before, during (second and third trimester) and after pregnancy. She is happy to offer a mobile service in Ealing, Hillingdon, Hounslow and surrounding areas and also at a residential property in Ealing.
